This carrot cake is absolutely delicious!! It’s very moist, yet it’s dense enough to be used in a tiered cake design. It freezes beautifully and would make a great addition to your Christmas celebrations or gift giving.

@MissJosElynne did you butter spray the parchment paper because i never had this problem i always use parchment paper and it works.
@mybraceletsify the problem is that the parchment paper sometimes burn. I baked a batch of cookies last time and it’s hard to scrape the cookies off the paper. I even brushed the pan with butter then lined it with the parchment paper and it still has the same results. I’ve been wasting parchment paper whenever I bake cookies instead of using the same one for the whole batch.
@mybraceletsify So do I
@cookwithadam You are soooooo right
@MissJosElynne My parchment paper is the same on both side.
@139sammy I’ve never tried it. But if I were going to do that, I would use 3/4 of melted butter in place of the 1 Cup of oil.

@MissJosElynne it doesn’t mater as long its the pan its just to make sure the cake gets out without ruining it.

Im confused about placing parchment paper on the baking pans. which side up, the glossy one or the rough one?
Hello Candra, if I wanted to use butter instead of the oil would I just use 1 cup of butter in place of 1 cup of oil?
Yummy
